Nothing Cerny could do about either of them. 1st was terrible. 2nd was a quality ball. Seemed like Ferdinand was shaky and that translated for the rest of the team.
Well we know that we'll be spending a chunk on defenders. Gabs and Ferdinand were shocking today, just what you don't need when you have so many injuries to contend with anyway. Faurlin controlled the whole game but the defending let us down and we just aren't good enough up front. How many attackers did we have on in the end?? And what the **** has happened to Me Lord Derry???? He seems to have run out of gas and couldn't do a thing right. Anyway that's the moan other. Now let's look at the positives. We have an easy run of games now with Liverpool away and United at home so we should claw back some points.
Derry was poor. Can't start unless we're short on numbers from now on imo! Anton looks as though the Terry thing is getting to him...can't think why else he's started to look so shaky. His fault for the first goal and Derry lost Holt for the winner.
Yes, we needlessly coughed up the ball in dangerous situations and didn't clear when we had the opportunity. Seemed to me that Faurlin was often guilty of this getting caught on the ball when attempting fancy footwork. Our strike force, apart from defender Luke Young with his excellent goal, lacked finishing prowess. Overall, Cerny, our #3 keeper did okay I thought.
Norwich worthy winners. Not diving to get players sent off. Anton rocky: needs to focus on his game instead of politics
Given he's fallen flat on his arse for the winning goal in two recent home games after years of making few mistakes in the middle of the league's tightest defence I'd say Terry has fared slightly worse in the aftermath than Ferdinand who has been superb since and wasn't too bad today at all. I thought Gabbidon was the shakier of the two.
I happen to agree with you and your other thread was a valid question. But because you are obviously just trying to rise people, our Moderator is right to censor you. Stop acting the clown and your thesis on Ferdinand manning up and copping on would be taken seriously.
I've been sayin this week that derry has been poor recently and had been dropped. I was hoping he would come back the old player he was before the slump, but for me again was poor today. He brought nothing to the game today and i think with barton we would have got something. today.
