Should some of the cash 'windfall' from the Newcastle game be used to bring in a specialst Defence Coach
for a month or two? What do you think?

He was at QPR last season, but left in the summer just as they were rejoining Prem.
So maybe he is free at present. It was the defence that cost us a play off spot two years running
under Hessy. Now it seems in need of all the help it can get, especially after last season's
    goals against shipment!

I rate Downes, he did patch up what was a leaky defence under Hess and it spoke volumes when Hendon took him to West Ham. It's agreed that we need to tighten up our defence especially when we are sometimes playing with three centre backs and a holding midfielder yet still conceding freely. I think we have the right people in place though, Egan especially. Fingers crossed we get our act together for tomorrow night.
