Okay, deep breath and let's take stock here - 1 - We're unlikely to play that badly again. 2 - We're 2nd in the league. I for one don't give a monkey's about winning the league, as long as we're second. 3 - We will strengthen in this window. 4 - We have some significant players coming back. 5 - Leicester were very good this evening. 6 - We were always going to have a bit of a blip. 7 - In Nigel and Nicola we trust. 8 - COYR.
Even if we barely win again this season and dont make the playoffs it would have still surpassed my wildest expectations. I honestly though we needed firstly to ensure we didnt get in a relagation fight I didnt doubt our quality but we had just been promoted from a IMO poor league one we had no right to piss over this league. For most of this season we have done, if we can retain some form we can still win this division if not we try again next year. Also 5 players who would go straight into my first choice 11 were out today any club in the country would struggle with that.
I have no problem with honesty, in fact it annoys me when people try and insinuate that cos were doing so well we didnt actually play badly. Theirs no point in a forum without discussing the game however no matter how frustrating a season is made up of 46 matches and that distinction is all to often blurred.
