Phyllis, yes we can talk about our credibility as we pay our debts in full unlike other clubs we could mention. Now these are only my thoughts: Michael Filiou is a long term associate of Sam Hamman who happens to be an accountant. I am not aware what capacity he will fulfil as a board member but suspect he may have already owned shares in the the club, or he has been awarded enough shares, to place him on the board. If anyone is aware of this situation please let us know. Cardiff city already has a chief accountant (put in place by VT) so I do not expect him to take that role. To me it does appear. Sam has the ear of VT he doesn't need Michael Filiou to represent him. Now this is where VT has been a bit clever. He's got Sam back in the fold and will use him as an Ambassador for the club. Sam has the ear of a majority of the keep it blue brigade. I think Sams first task in this position is to get these guys on board. I nearly choked when I read the article on WOL (below). Talk about a public sucking up exercise from Sam, this is clearly the opening shot at getting them on board and hopefully (for Sam) gaining some respect from VT. With regard to the debt situation, we were 83 million in debt which included a 13 million operating loss for 2011/12 season, VT converts his 37+ million to equity that leaves 13 operating loss 37 debt to equity 15 Langstone 18 ? 83 total Now does the residual 18 million include the 5 million payable to Langstone upon promotion to the premier league. It must include the funds earmarked for the development of the club such as the training facilities that were in the planning stage. Thereby reducing the "debt" further.
