Just to clear this up once and for all: Norwich City colours are GREEN & YELLOW, but the team are PURE GOLD!
There are two reasons why 'gold' is acceptable on this occasion, 1 :- it's a reference to Newton Heath's colours, and 2 :- the poem scans perfectly using 'gold', not so using 'yellow'! Nice poem, sir, but I must point out cookbook doesn't rhyme with farce!

I do like Lambert, he's done a fantastic job with you guys and seems a very good manager. I remember seeing him play in the CL final for Dortmund.
