Anyone think that the signings made by our rivals on deadline day may increase their chances of taking our title?

I can't see any of the deadline day transfers having a major impact to be honest.

Arsenal were amongst the busiest on deadline day but the only good transfer they made, in my opinion, is that of Arteta.

Arsenal have increased their chances of staying in the CL, but I don't think they have any realistic chance of taking the title.

As shwan said, Liverpool have only hurt their chances by selling Meireles. Bellamy will provide decent back up, and is probably more of a goal threat than Carroll right now, but they are still very reliant on Suarez imo.

Chelsea may have improved their chances by buying Meireles, but it's hard to see how he will fit in or what their approach will be this season. They can't carry on like they are doing if they want to challenge for the title, as they have been less than spectacular so far.

City are still the biggest threat.

Because he put in a transfer request. We don't want players at our club that don't want to be there, simple we sold him.

Big mistake? Meireles is a very good player but we have better and Kenny has not used him once in our starting 11 this season, he has basically become a fringe player and an impact sub. We will get on fine without him, especially as Gerrard is due back soon <ok>
