Im just 'aving a laff. This is a football forum, there are plenty of work out forums which are more appropriate. I don't really use squats but might add them to my workout. I currently use a treadmill, dumbells, total gym and my favourite is my slam man punch bag (although if you hit it too hard you can feel the shock go down the bones in the forearm). Im looking at getting a multi gym as well and will try to get one I can do squats with now
100kg bench is not bad. How much do you weigh? (if you dont mind me asking) If your looking to get strong (rather than just put on bulk) sets of 5 is fine. 5x5 is the most common strength routine.
5f10 15st just started on Sunday on 100kg was doing 74kg then saw a deal on Argos app you can buy 3 10kgx2 of pro power cast iron for £20 off why not I wanted to go heavy. 80. kg was ok but 100kg is a good test so as it in the front room I just do a quick set every 20min and before I go to bed I do some Deadlifts.
Muscle does not weigh more than fat, any more than lead weighs more than feathers. A pound is a pound is a pound. Where the misunderstanding often comes in is that muscle is much more dense than fat, so that, by volume, it seems to weigh more. That is, a pound of muscle occupies less space than a pound of fat. In addition, because a pound of muscle burns more fat than a pound of fat, even at rest, by increasing your lean muscle tissue mass, you're helping your body burn more calories.
