The fact that Macca and the players in front of him did a great job to keep Wrexham out means I have got away with it a little bit. It was a strange old game. We had a few chances when they went down to ten men in the second half, but you have to be a bit cautious when you have an outfield player in goal. We couldnât go gung ho or make really attacking changes because we were always mindful that we needed bodies in front of Mark. We can move the ball better than we did in the first-half and I have had a bit of a pop at the players about that, but, all in all, the lads have done well to get a point in the circumstances. Wrexham is a tough place to come because they are a good side who will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season. I think the supporters have gone home happy with the commitment they have seen from the boys, but I just felt we could have done better in a couple of situations.â
Well done for putting his hands up about the GK. I hope lessons are learnt, this was always a likely outcome and has prob. cost us 2 points considering the form we're in. A good point when all's said and done. UTG
