Does anyone know if David Prutton's 10 match ban is still the longest given for a incident during a game?

There are a few examples in here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16295932, so it's beaten by Di Canio and Cantona. I suppose this is going in the Barton direction, but I would not be too quick to compare the two incidents.

Yes surprisingly the Barton incident started the debate at work but you are right the 2 cannot be compared, but thank you for your answer.

Poor Prutton, since that incident he's not really done anything. Glad he cared even if he was stupid. I just re-read the story about it and his use of "threatening language", anyone know what he said?

I really rated Prutton, his career has hit the rocks since then though.
