Except Pompey were relegated to the 3rd Division of England, when we were only relegated from the EPL. Players play football, they are what makes or brakes the effort in the league, Pompey were relegated...nuff said.

With Brown we could start with 5 ex Portsmouth players, if we had got Ward it would have been 6. Someone will say soon yes but they are squad players, I just don't feel it is good enough any longer and I worry that Warnock said it is the next three or so signings that are the crucial ones... Please tell me he didn't mean Norris, I don't want to lose faith in Warnock before we even start a season but so far with what has come in and gone out we would be screaming blue murder had it been Grayson.
Realistically I don't think we have any chance of relegation, we're too solid at the back, but in the space of a year we've gone from: Kilkenny/Clayton - Johnson Snodgrass - Howson - Gradel to Norris - Austin Rogers - Varney - White And I think it's fair to say I'm a little bit pissed off. We're a ****ing long way off "3 excellent signings" away from going up.
