David Marshall

I hope his good form continues in this coming season, one of the team who is definitely Prem quality.

Hope he just practices those penalty saves now that Suarez and Zaha will be diving again.........

Now he did save that Hull penalty in the last game of the season, but the last one I can remember before that was that Kermorgant effort - my cat could have saved that.

Yes, I'd forgotten Waggy's effort after Jan's thunderbolt.....

To be fair, that was a decent save to send us through to the final, but I can't remember any since up until Hull.

 

Anyone think we need a serious back up in case of injury? I see Turnbull is back up for grabs. Didn't have the best spell with us last time around but Premiership experience with Chelski.

Havent seen Lewis but he was highly rated.

Use the loan system if necessary.

 

Funny thing there, Heaton was absolute **** the first time for us, he was pretty damn good second time around, was unlucky we had Marshall though.

 

Heaton was better 2nd spell.

First spell I wouldnt be that harsh.Just Not good enough.

Turnbull was completely useless.

I think Heaton was overrated anyway.

Marshall made saves last season that showed why he was our no.1. Miles better than Heaton and better in my opinion than most in the PL.

 

Turnbull is even worse than Bywater. No thanks.

 

Marshall is absolutely prem class. We just got the DVD review of the 12-13 season & some of the saves he pulled off when added together was one of the reasons we got to the promised land. Thank you David!
