I hear David James has left the sh*t heads today...who reckons we would take him on? most know he was on the brink of signing a few years ago and would have been a brilliant signing but is he capable of doing the job now? To be honest I would love to sign him for a year and see if he could push cole and compete for no 1, but he is still capable of these...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teyN32EblIs

I would give him a go if he would come here. Apart from being a decent keeper even now, he knows people. I still don't rate Cole that highly so am a little biased.

Yep but then again they think they are a football team as well. If I'm honest I don't think he will sign for either.

Do we really need a Bristol City cast-off.

Am I being contentious in saying, I actually think we have a good set up with Cole and Rommaine - good enough to get us promotion, we have had quite a few clean sheets over the last ten games as form has improved.

If he will add to the home gates, see no reason why not....if we can afford him of course!

Not at all aka-I just think it would be good to have a keeper that wants to play in goal. Just as fletcher has done, le keeper seems to want to be le assistant so it doesn't seem that cole really has any competition for his position.

See your point GreenArmy, but I just can't see that James would want to play in league 2.

He will be looking to sign as player/coach I would think at this time in his career and that would not fit in with current set up. Although personally not sure Fletcher will be here next season, his choice not ours, which will please a few but not me.
Only good thing about Drizzle the M5 South...

I think we are all forgetting that his wages would be huge (for league 2 anyway).

I thought Chenoweth performed well at Morecambe and I would rather have him as sub keeps and use the rest of our budget on getting a striker who can regularly put away chances than sign calamity James.

    Just my opinion...
