i don't know if sweden is responsible. it has a system of helping fund students through higher-ed but not tuition fees, which is rather different. same as finners. i thought the uk adopted the us funding model? its the earlier education which helps build their knowledge and independence. culturally, you contribute to society or fook off. equally, young people are simply expected to make it here, irrespective of their parents. stand up on their own two feet if they really can. their debt is driven by the cost of living, but you adjust.
