http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22558393 The sport loses another big name and another United great. A decade on from leaving us ,it's the end of the road for Becks. There will always be a debate over how talented he really was and certainly his media profile overshadowed his playing for much of his career, but you can't fault the commitment to club and country he had throughout his career. Seems it is the season for retirements Excellent player that was both over and under rated at times but never let anyone down. Couldn't half cross and take a freekick too. Sad loss to the game and hope he enjoys his retirement
Makes Giggs the last man standing from the class of 92' does it not? Sad to see the sport lose one of the best professionals it's had around in the last 20 years. One of the few people who actually seemed to take pride in playing England in recent times.
Sad times for football, three man utd legends retired.... David Beckham is a world class winger and one of the best crossers and passers of the ball in the world, his free kicks were good too. A great player. He will always be remembered here at man utd. Hope he enjoys his retirement
Yep Ryan Giggs is now the last person now. Sad times for all man utd fans around the world because three united legends retired and also sad for football. Like Gary Neville said it feels like a end of an generation.
Beckham was the most overrated player ever, ****ing ****e, even that old soak George Best said he was ****ing crap, If a footballer can't kick a ball into the box, he shouldn't be on the ****ing pitch.
