VW has commited an emissions fraud that will cost them about £20b or more, and the worst part is afterwards they'll still be fine #costofbusiness

So they're known liars and just a tiny fraction of the fossil fuel industry, but their budget for covering their fraud/mistakes already dwarfs science funding

Yet you believe businesses like this are only interested in the truth concering climate change etc. #mostgulliblepersonever

 

Before this goes any further, their supposed fraud relates to NOx emmisions not CO2, in fact the SCR process produces CO2.

 

I'm not making any claims regarding the specifics, it didn't even need to be emissions-related, just a current high profile case of massive fraud by businesses

 

I don't think it even remotely logical to relate VW's fraud to the fossil fuel industry.

They lied to make money. Isn't that usually how it goes.

Not only that matey, China's emissions stats are probably, most likely nowhere near accurate either, nor India's and much of Africa's too.

As for Nye, he is responsible for spreading so much bullshit because he has an audience, and he got mullered by an atmospheric physicist who had actually worked for the IPCC, Lindzen, I found it amusing the purile emotional arguments Nye resorted to when presented with scientific fact That's all/

People like him are given far too much air time and actual physicists who study the subject like Lindzen given far less time, plus Lindzen's work was not reflected in the IPCC report he worked on, because it did not fit the alarmism. No dissent eh, of course not when you don't allow it
