saw him playing for the youth team at Leyton Orient against Spurs ( Spurs played their youth games there then ) and thought he was one of the best at that age i had ever seen. a certain P> Crouch came on in the second half for Spuds, to much derisive jeering. he looked about 6 stone, even thinner than he is now. strange occurrence, we won, and played our next round match at the same venue as we were drawn against Orient.

 

And for the club he just left to get promoted, as happened for us twice and Stoke!

 

Did I see Earnie had gone there too?

 

Yeah Earnshaw is there, Jim Brennan is Ryan Nelsen's right hand man there I believe. I think he may have crossed paths with both players at Norwich. When Darel Russell left after his first spell and Earnshaw when Jim Brennan left. Either way hope all three of them are successful.
