Danny Murphy and Roberto Martinez on BBC 5 Live has been great listening tonight - Worth the podcast. Danny comes across really well, with a bit extra insight on FFC under Roy. One point was him contrasting teams changing formations (3-5-2, 3-4-3) to shake-up opponents, versus Roy's standard formation with the advantage that everyone knew their role. And then they played some radio commentary of Danny goals â his header at Pompey (see Fulhamish postings) still makes the hairs stand up! Wish he was still at The Cottage.
Unfortunately observations on tomorrrow's game were limited to 30 seconds right at the end - an experience in itself for Man United followers. Danny made the point that he expected Fulham to be "tighter and only play one of the B's".
