I was really impressed by Danny Kedwell yesterday - he ran and ran and ran for the team yesterday chasing lost causes and putting great pressure on their defence! When we did hoof the ball up he was very good at holding it up with a few nice touches and flick-ons which will prove invaluable when we get Birchall back! Also showed a bit of skill to beat two of their players whilst facing the Gordon Road stand right on the touchline - could prove to be a real fans favourite when we get another striker to feed off him!
On another note I was glad to see Lee taking a few long shots yesterday as he has clearly got an eye for goal which is imperative and also in this league there is every chance of a goalkeeping blunder or, as their keeper did yesterday, parrying it out for Kedwell to hopefully slot into an empty net!
    A great three points UTG!!

I completely agree, he looked very good and as you touched upon, wouldn't stop running for the team. He leads the line very well indeed and I hope with a few more games, the midfielders can begin to link up with him a bit better like they did slightly as the game progressed.

Yeah spot on. Danny really showed he cared about the club yesterday by working as hard as he did. Needs someone else with him to take some pressure off him as yesterday the midfield didn't really support him as well as they should have done.

played very well but for me lacks a bit of pace to play up top on his own, not his fault and he worked his socks off. however there were a few times if he had someone feeding off of him (weston maybe sitting just behond him till birch is back) that he could have done a lot more with the ball. all in all very impressed and lets hope he starts banging them in soon
