due to the fact that he has'nt rediscovered his form from the first time he was here...yes would have to agree on this!
to be honest last season he was only abit part player, not really msking an impact for us. should imagine he's on a decent wage as well and hope if he goes we can get something back of the £75,000! maybe richards as well?
can see brunt, evans, hawkes, rance, essem and callum davies going on loan, but hope they get more of a chance to play within around the team this season too!
king would be ideal to send on loan to test him, but don't see that happening because hess and staff will want to watch close up how he gets on, plus he can't train all the time...so to much of a risk i guess! this is his make or break season...good luck kingy!!!!

King played 45 mins of the friendly against ashford with no worries that i hear of and has been back in training. All he needs is to get fit and thts what the pre season does. I wouldnt like to loan out one of our players, who when is on form is one of our best.

shame cos hes a good player, had he been a bit taller he could have been a great player. i can understand him going cos he prob atleast 3rd in the pecking order for lb and now has atleast 3 players above him in the midfield role. would be nice to keep him around the squad due to his versitility but i guess he just wants to play football.

I kind of predicted this when i made a thread a few days ago. Agree with jokeykid, there are a lot of players in front of him in the pecking order now. It's a shame 'cause he is a good player. But this is only a good sign for Gillingham as it shows our impressive strength in depth.
