Hi Swans, Watford fan here. Just wanted to make you aware of an interview with Super Dan on my site - www.watfordlegends.com which we done just before the start of the season. Hope you enjoy it!
i wish he showed his scoring powers here.....so far he has looked poor and the step up may be a step to far for the lad....can we have our money back please.....
He deserves his chance in the PL but to be honest most WFC fans doubt he is good enough for that level. Everyone wants to see him do well but I just don't think he will cut it, however he will give everything he has got for the whole season and he will create a few goals for you. I'm afraid he falls into that bracket of being a top Championship striker but not quite good enough for the Prem.
Northolt your club was desperately trying to sign him, so don't be a bitter twat like you normally are, the guy will come good for us, unlike bothroyd for you, he is completely ****e and is a massive failure at this level, you will see whats he like once he settles in
We just need to give Graham a few games to settle in, no doubt that he will come good for us soon and start getting those goals!
of course im joking jamie. but i do fear that we have paid too much for the lad. there is nobody more than me hoping he will prove me wrong but how long do we wait to see if he comes good, no goals scored in the premiership and collimore on talksport reckons lack of goals will send us down by xmas....i hope he is wrong......
I'm a little bit anxious, but to say "no goals scored in the premiership" after just 2 games is ridiculous. One game was away to the richest team on the planet, and the other was against a team terrified of defeat who parked their 3 supporters buses across the goal desperate to get a point.
you cant win games if you cant score goals, bolton scored against man city twice in fact and even though they lost they would still be above us because of those goals ......wigan were suppose to be one of our home bankers and they hit the post twice and missed a penalty......we were very lucky to get a point...
And we played them off the park in only our 2nd ever PL game. Come on, have a bit if patience. Trust in the boys, they will learn a lot very quickly and I think we will be scoring 2s and 3s per game once they click. Headless-chicken panic is not going to help.
In my oppinion Swansea should play Danny Vs Shrewsbury so he gets a goal under his belt and to boost his confidence! i know its shrewsbury but it will get his confidence up a bit ahaha
rhodz thats right we have to play him in the cup and if he draws a blank and has a poor game then we really must pack him off to the reserves until he learns to play our way and starts to find the net. he has played 6 games for us so far and is credited with one goal....im sorry as our top signing that is poor....
Dai it's all about luck, and they were lucky we didn't beat them , the point is their shots didn't go in, the penalty was saved by our keeper and we played them off the park, they are our relegation rivals, from what I've seen of them we will have more points come may
How the hell is he going to learn to play 'our way' in the reserves ? You are being idiotic in the extreme, you were the same with Scotland, Dyer, Sinclair and Taylor when they came to our club, you were proven wrong in every case!
jager you know like everyone else that im very rarely wrong about anything and even if it takes weeks or months the truth comes out and i am proved right, so many times now that its about time you listen to the voice of reason and reality....Brendan Will put danny into the reserves to get some experience if he cannot hack the step up, you have got to realise that danny boy is the main scorer on the pitch and if he cannot do the job whether its through lack of confidence or whatever then he needs to move out and let in Lita or even beattie to take the main strikers roll......6 games with one goal is very poor and not one we can afford to persist with.....
Dai we have played two games in the premier league, that is all that matters not some friendlies or training games, brendan knows what he is doing far more than us! And mate you are very rarely correct, I can link you to some of the crap you have come out with over the years
Dainumpty: "...there is nobody more than me hoping he will prove me wrong". Actually, there's quite a lot of people. I can't understand how you have always used the phrase "...the truth comes out and i am proved right" when you have repeatedly been proved wrong. The Pratley medical that never was; the fact that we'd "never get promoted when Jinks is in charge. Fact" Need I go on? But I accept you're not alone in having concerns about Graham. Very early days though. I agree we don't have the luxury of time but dropping him this early may prove counter-productive. Players who don't score after two competitive games tend not to be relegated to the reserves by most sensible managers. The line will have to be drawn but not yet.
What have Andy Carrol, Van Persie, Chamakh, Nani, Drogba, Torres, Lampard, Gyan and Danny Graham all got in common? None of them have scored in the premiership yet. Personally, I think they should all be dropped to the reserves as they clearly don't have the required ability to play at this level
