Off to Blackburn. Good decision in my opinion.

Blackburn have signed Danny Graham on loan from Sunderland after what the striker describes a "mad 24 hours".

The striker played against Tottenham in the Premier League at the weekend and was subbed before his side went on to lose 4-1.

And just a matter of days later, he wrapped up a move to the Championship side, when he will spend the rest of the season.

"It's been a mad 24 hours, I was training with Sunderland yesterday morning (Tuesday) and then I came down here last night to get things sorted, so I'm delighted to get it done, I'm looking forward to the first game against Charlton and hopefully we can get off to a flying start," said Graham.

"I was aware of the interest in the background and obviously I've been playing a bit at Sunderland in the last few weeks, so I'm coming here with games under my belt, which is also pleasing, so hopefully we can both do well for each other.

"I spoke to the manager a few times and obviously he's got some good players. The transfer embargo has been lifted, so they want to sign players and move the club forward.

"For me to get out of Sunderland and have a fresh challenge is superb for me, so I'm delighted to get it done, I can't wait to get going and hopefully we can pull together and move up the table."

Graham is expected to go straight into the Rovers squad for this weekend’s Championship clash with Charlton, but is cup tied for the following weekend’s FA Cup fourth round tie at Oxford.

Shame it's just a loan - when's his contract up? If Danny's mother is reading apoligies, nothing personal he tries hard but is just not good enough for what we need.

End of the season so he's effectively gone for good.

Hopefully get his wages spent on a signing that'll do a job. Defender or attacking mid.

Just another dead loss. No wonder Ellis Short is wary.

    Good move by Blackburn.
They are getting a decent championship player who is match fit and can go straight into their next game.....unlike our incomers.

Dunno about that mate. The general consensus of opinion on here seems to be that our incomers are also decent championship players. <doh>

On first showing even that could be classed as wishful thinking. <laugh>
