We are in talks with Copenhagen about signing him. He's a 20 year old Ghanian international midfielder who can also play in defence

I dont understand why we want another centre midfielder. With Andy King, Danny Drinkwater, N'Golo Kante, Gokhan Inler, Dean Hammond and Matty James still to return I dont think we need another midfielder unless were selling someone.

Don't need one - could easily lead to disharmony

Unless he´s alot better than what we have & one MID is going to be sold to make space for him I really don´t no why we need another MID. May be we´re getting rid of Simpson & he´s coming in as a DEF ?
I not sure but I think we have what we need unless we can get a world class player or 2 on the cheap... I think I´ve got more chance of bedding Jessica Alba :emoticon-0115-inlov

Think hes more of a Defender, is on Ghana's wiki teamsheet as a DEF.

Sounds alot like the role Sol Bamba played, where he was never stable enough in defence, but was never really tested as an anchor man.

I guess this would fit the Ranieri "flexability" role if he could play in a back 3 or as an anchorman sweeping up to give the other 2 CMs more freedom, both these would suggest a 3-5-2 formation.

From the small amount of homework I've done on him, he looks very quick and could possibly work at right back? Him and Schlupp in full-back positions would be absolutely rapid. Seems more like one for the future though, but was scouted by Liverpool a couple of years back so can't be too bad, and has caps for Ghana.

Why are Man City after de Bruyn with the midfield and attack they have? Dont think you can have too many good players, and would be surprised if all our existing squad are Ranieris cup of tea. Negotiations were mentioned a week ago but CR said on saturday it was speculation. We shall see, but he does seem a decent player.

All Man City need, possibly, is someone out wide right - suprised they werent in for pedro. If they sign de bruyne for that much and play him out wide then they are stupid, he is a cental player

He's more of a centre half that can play midfield. Plus he's only 20 so he's not going to be a starter ever week.

So how worried should we be about the Africa Cup of Nations if he signs? He would be another first teamer gone along with several we can already expect to be in national squads for that tournament.

They can all just have convenient injuries like Jeff did last season.

Is highly rated and looks like he could do the job in the future - can see us getting him and loaning him back for the rest of the season though.

Don't think that Wasyl is going to last another season here and Huth does have a reputation for injuries so having another backup with Moore will do it good.
