I couldn't find the thread about Drury's testimonial so by all means merge this with that.

Great to see young Pacheco is definitely playing in it. Seems to have such a great relationship with the fans and clearly loved his time here. Will be great to see him back.

Agree, think he is pretty out of favour. Such a likeable guy, amazing the impression he had on Norwich fans after playing 8 games or so with us!! Love the guy!

To be honest, I think Lambert would prefer to get Snodgrass. They are similar players that could play in the same positions, and although Snodgrass will command a larger fee, I get the feeling he will be the first player we try and sign.

After all that, if we could get Pacheco cheap enough, there could still be enough room in the squad for him.

Not sure I think Snodgrass' transfer fee is probably the problem. Great player but I think there will be a lot of competition which could lead to inflated prices.

I disagree about them being similar players, I think Pacheco's movement is better myself too and is a lot more mobile. Snodgrass has a brilliant final delivery though and beats player on skill. Different ways of attacking in my eyes Snodgrass all about on the ball beating players, Pacheco's movement is the difference for him plus he can beat a player.

One of my friends who is a liverpool fan said that his contract is up this summer and it's in the hands of the team who loaned him to give him one... If he's going on a free (might be compensation) i'd snap his arm off i think at a team with fans behind him and a run of games he could be class and the way he talks to our players on twitter he obviously liked them!

If he is good enough or not I don't know, would have to see a bit more of him, but he plays the game with such a great attitude, works hard and plays with a smile on his face. The players here as well as the fans clearly love him but I'm sure wherever he goes he will be a credit to his team. Makes such a nice change from some of the younger players who come across as spoilt brats who take what they have for granted and offer little in return

Am I the only one who finds Snodgrass a tad overhyped? His a good player but people go mad the minute his names mentioned. As for Pacheco I'd have him back any day of the week intelligent player great movement and works fairly well with Holt. I think sometimes we lack a second forward at this club Jackson seems to be filling that role but players like that add another dimension and I think we don't have that up top sometimes.

I think Snodgrass has goals in him and can make something out of nothing, but I do think he will be overpriced. Agree about forward, it's a shame Wes isn't blessed with pace because he could play that role a treat, but if Wes was fast then I think he would be a top top player. Jackson has done well this year and noticed a change in role like you said, coming deep for ball, interplaying with Holt and Wes etc. But Jackson is normally everywhere haha.

Agreed. We know very little about Snodgrass other than he is a handy player.
We know the same about Pacheco and also that he likes it at the club and the area. You're home and hosed with that attitude.

At the end of last season I'd have been delighted to have kept both him and Angela Lansbury as they seemd to fit the "young lads on the way up" Lambert mould and I agree with the general sentiment that given a run of games he could be Wes on rocket fuel and give the squad a nice attacking option.
