Are there any current prem teams that you have never seen us beat live? The only 2 ive never seen us beat are Everton and Wigan ive seen us beat the rest even though sum of those games were in the championship and man utd was in the Carling cup. Everton have been something of a bogey team for us recently i dont think weve beaten them since aabout 2000. Im sure that some of you have seen us beat the lot and hopefully i will be one of you at the end of the season.
I've seen up beat them all over the years and unfortunately that only comes with age as a sunderland fan. Obviously at home, our biggest bogey team are you know who. The seen up win over there (the Play off game was just superb and the biggest game between us both post war) but I'd like to see the balance restored, although it will have to be next year now. Lol
Aye the last few yearsvhave been painful in that respect but hopefully we can do them at there place later in the season and lift a monkey off our backs.
Our Derby record isn't great, don't forget that we won the most important one in recent year's though. If newcastle had came out on top or even drew both those game's we would have been relegated instead of them.
Beat Everton at Roker mate one of the last games when Chris Waddle scored in front of the Fulwell think we won 3-1 as well. Saw us beat Man Utd in the league as well 2-1 at SOL (I think it was), as for the rest I'd say Swansea and QPR are the only ones I haven't seen beaten at home by us yet.
