Many of you may already know that Martin Goldthorpe passed away a several weeks ago. Martin had FFC running through his body from head to toe, always a smiling face and a kind word, and would follow our under 21s & 18 to every place they played, in my modest travels I would count on both hands the games I missed in a season, he could count the number of games he missed in 10 seasons. It would be of great interest if the club could assemble a collage of his work, a fitting tribute to a great supporter. As several asked what happened to Ken Cotton ? R I P Martin.
I went to Martin's funeral last week, and it was good to see the chapel packed full of Martins friends and Fulham Supporters. The Fulham club Chaplain Gary Piper held the service and the Directors and club sent tributes. Martins death was unexpected and he was a fan that was always there through the good and bad times. I'm sure TOOFIF will give a fitting tribute to a great supporter of the club.
