To add to this, I have heard that the game will be shown on Sky channel 433 which I'm guessing you have to pay extra for but I haven't looked into this yet.

    Correct Penguin
I did put that on here but deleted it as you need to sign up for minimum of 3 months.

Working this out it will cost you £21 to watch this one game on channell 433!!!!

    No thanks!

Good game, hopefully MJ will give a chance to more young players at the Cottage in a week's time.

Saying that we need someone to help Bobby upfront...

Thanks for the link WDWW - made for a good night. Especially enjoyable to see Frei taking people on and Briggs strong throughout. Agree with FFC-M re Bobby and no I won't continue my mini rant about AJ not being the correct partner for him. Ah, just did. Anyway, job well done. Duff MOTM.

Those of you who were able to watch it (damn you, unreliable internet connection!) how did the substitutions affect the formation? I'm assuming that Frei was on the left and Duff on the right. Who moved up front when Riise the Younger came on for AJ? What reshuffling took place when Donegan came on?

It sounds from the above that Frei looks like a good one. Did we see enough of Donegan to draw any conclusions, or did he just not have enough time to do anything?

Donegan didn't play enough to make any conclusions but would be good if he started at the cottage.

TBH Captain was not paying much attention after 3-1 and my daughter started asking to watch youtube on the PC. I think Bobby was on his own and support from Riise and Frei.

Captain watched the match, was very impressed with the work rate, and formation ,even after the substitutions.
FFc is right Donegon was not on the pitch long enough to analyse,
Frei, positioned himself well, speedy on and off the ball.AJ as usual a non contributory factor.

AJ was lively all the time he played. The problem is that takes Bobby out of position and can't keep the ball long enough. His low crosses are leathal if someone can make contact with the ball and that's his instict as a forward...

The formation that will produce results is Bobby with someone supporting him auch as Dempsey or Dembele (similar to Gera's role).

The second half of the game using that link I provided was shocking jumping all over the place it was!

Did anyone else get that bad connection?

Who is going to watch the return leg at the cottage next week?, I will be there
