Do any of you guys do cruise holidays? Just been persuaded to book my first trip round the Adriatic and was wondering about: - seasickness- is it an issue? - port stops- is it worth doing your own thing with a local guide or the cruise ship people? - Sunbeds- ever an issue getting one? TIA
Done Norway and Caribbean cruises before. If you mean a proper cruise ship then sea sickness is rarely a problem. Those things are pretty sturdy. Port stops we tended to do our own thing, unless there is a paricular trip or activity of real interest that might be difficult to book directly - or where it would be hard for you to get the transport for a trip further inland. Sunbeds can depend on the cruise. You might want to get up early to bag one. Usually have decent gyms on them too mate, sometimes with the best views. Which ship are you on?
always resisted but saw a deal and finally relented. But yes I’m getting old. I’m heading towards 50 in a few years.
It's the year 2045 and NASA finally succeed in sending a man to Mars. As the craft lands and the bay door opens, an astronaut places his feet on the surface of the Red Planet. But just then a figure appears dressed in mustard chinos and holding a pint of lager. The much-travelled Chippy has beaten NASA to Mars. Is there nowhere you haven't been to Chippy? Don't you ever work?
this is a holiday to recuperate from work mate. To recharge my batteries. It’s knackering travelling as Jak will attest to.
I'm starting to think you might be a holiday rep for one of these budget package holiday firms. That's why you're always abroad. Bet you do ****ty magic shows and naff caberets. Also might explain the mustard clothing, is that part of your uniform? Maybe you're a clown?
