A necessary thread, given our laughable self inflicted injury situation, caused by -

    1. Decimating the club’s medical Dept
    2. Signing players made of glass or worse, because they are cheap.

Sorry, but I have lost patience with this guy.
He’s had his bad luck with injuries, but he’s a massive drain our our paltry resources and badly needs to be shown the exit.

    Bye :emoticon-0149-no:

    Bauer is back in training.

Does anyone want to lay a bet that he gets another injury before Xmas ?

I reckon Bauer will be off in January. He has already said he is not signing a new contract.

A Championship team will offer us £250k plus another £150k if they get promoted and we will accept it … "Although we have made Bauer a very good offer he has made it clear to us that he will not sign another contract and the owner was left with no option but to sell Pat" … there you go Bow I have written the Club statement for you <ok>

Looking at Page’s comments on Twitter, he thinks Xmas has come early.

Decent full back but, once again, hardly ever fit ....

No, but I might start if we don't get a new owner soon.

RD would not waste his money giving contracts out unless he was close to closing a deal for CAFC?
The poorer our squad is and the lower we sink, the less money we cost him.
Logically it must be the new owners who are deciding who they want, and funding the contracts. Duchatelet has zero incentive to re-sign anybody if he believes he is still going to be our owner beyond the next few months.

If the January transfer window is not a fire sale, and several other players sign new contracts, it must mean a take-over is very close.

Page may have signed up, but his sickness record means no-one else wants him. Let's see if Aribo is offered a contract which is genuinely competitive.

I think my last post was a final wave goodbye from the very last of my optimism before it abandoned me.

Feeling utterly fed up with the whole business to be honest.
From force of habit rather than anything else (plus traveling to SE7 on Saturdays allows me to see the last of my family who still live there) I will probably continue to make that walk to the Valley on home match days. But the magic has truly gone. Between me and our famous old Club, it's just a matter now of who keels over first. If I'm lucky and I lose some weight, I might have 20 years left in me.

    What a bummer. :(

Reported on ITTV that Darren Pratley's 'tweaked' knee is going to keep him out for weeks rather than days.

Time to send on the kids - it is November after all... :emoticon-0158-time:

In all honesty I think Lapslie is not far behind Pratley and Morgan is fine as cover from the bench.

Pratley out for around 3 weeks - has to be said, he’s a poor signing. At the *** end of his career and has offered us very little this season so far. Some wallys were comparing him to Diarra when he signed <laugh><laugh>- he’s got long black legs, but the similarities end there I would suggest <whistle>

Ward is also out injured again - a talented player but, once again, a shocking sh1t fitness record. Hopefully we will send him back to Forest in January as planned as he just doesn’t play enough games.

    Who next ?

    Reeves.....Fosu......Clarke or Pearce ?
