Get the graph out that shows your three point gimmes against Chelsea and Swansea were any harder than the games we've had.
please log in to view this image Liverpool's opponents rank an average 1.5 places higher than Man Utd's
According to who, you? How are Crystal Palace ranked 2. Is it because they beat you at home? Spurs also happen to be ranked 2, this is just ****e dreamed up in your head and means absolutely jack ****. Please qualify these rankings.
Not sure I follow this ... we were actually top (I remember because it doesn't happen that often ) ... so why do we have a ranking of 5 ... shouldn't it have been 1?
I think this shows the teams league position at the time they played United or Liverpool. Which means its not worth a damn thing.
... ??? ... we played United on Saturday ... we were first and they were second ... admittedly by the time we played them Man City were a point clear of us having played earlier that same afternoon ,,, but is still makes no sense
Lies, damn lies and statistics. The guy does not even understand the stats and how they can be used and when they dont make any sense.
Taking Palace as an example...so they beat you at home and were apparently the second best away team in the league? They've amassed 12 away points. Leicester have 15 away points. United have 14 away points. Arsenal have 16 away points. West Ham have 13 away points. But Palace at the time were the second highest tanked away team in the league. Unlikely! There's also no way that their home record was the 15th best in the league when we played them. Once again you lack credibility as you can't even make selective stats work in your favour. Remind us again what you said about Rodgers staying and Klopp's managerial ability?
I can only assume it shows their ranking in the home and away tables. Although it must be the ranking at some arbitrary point in the past, as it doesn't match the current league tables. Which makes it worth even less than that. Apparently cos Crystal Palace lost at home to strong teams Arsenal and City, but won away to poor teams like Chelsea and Liverpool, they are the second hardest team in the league to face at home, but the 15th hardest to face at their ground. So apparently Liverpool losing to them at Anfield is a better result than Utd drawing with them at Selhurst Park! #astrologic
Let's see if you still agree on it next week when another draw puts you out of the top 4 Start raising money for the plane banner now
I can just take Palace as a random example. When you lost to them at Klanfield they had 9 away points from 5 games. That's an average of 1.8 per game. City's average was 2, as was Leicester's, Arsenal's was 2.5. So Palace didn't have the 2nd best away record. I suspect what you've done is use your defeat to boost their ranking. The fact is though that when you played them they were ranked 4th. After you played them they may have been ranked 2nd, I haven't checked. That would be akin to saying that you lost to the team in 8th place when in fact you lost to the team in 10th place. After they beat you they overtook you to go from 10th to 8th and you went from 8th to 10th. Stats can be manipulated to a degree but ultimately they are based in facts which you can't get away from and when you ignore the facts you end up looking like a deluded, plastic Koppite melt.
Can you go a graph for that, on how many UTD fans with season tickets will contribute and how many plastics will contribute, but taking away 20% of the prawn eating sandwich brigade. I wait with anticipation on a colourful graph
