I think the hash for the goal was more Taylor's error. All three can take some blame but Taylor had the chance to put his head on it and didn't. Hard to tell if he got a shout from Dickinson or not.

I thought the defence looked pretty decent, apart from the goal. But elsewhere we seemed to lack the attacking threat which we had last year.

If there isnt rapid improvement by Tuesday evening we need to be at least thinking about a replacement for SD and woan! All for the continuity angle but it isnt working , fresh blood fresh ideas are needed! and need to be in place before the winter transfer window!

Agreed Norway, with Mackay and Boofers I questioned whether they had a plan B when things weren't going well, with Dyche I cant work out what plan A is.

Well, --what is Dyche's plan? Good question!. So far , the stress is not on "continuity" but "all chage". He seems to be have abandoned the intention to develop our own young players, towards a target of 50% of the team being Academy products. Instead he has assembled a large squad , and seems to hope that by creating "competition for places" he will create a successful team. The trouble is that the players he has brought in lack flair , creativity or goal -scoring capability. He has not built on the team that was emerging last season, but dismantled it. I am puzzled at this, and I am sure the young players who have been marginalised are puzzled and disappointed too. Dyche must also have abandoned the careful scouting/recruitment strategy that was in place over the last couple of years, otherwise players like Iwelumo would not have brought in, nor people like Mirfin or Bauben to sit on the bench. The style of play is also more direct, which most teams in the Championship know how to deal with--Forest did.

Looking at the fixture list in blocks of 5, I can see few groups of games from which I would expect more than 5 points; relegation form no doubt. It is actually quite hard to see 3 teams we can expect to beat at the moment, let alone three teams we might finish above. Something very convincing needed on Tuesday, otherwise the fans will find it increasingly hard to identify with Dyche's journeymen.

Shame more people in the ground don't keep vitriolic comments where they belong rather than doing their best at undermining the players while they are still on the pitch, whether you think he is good enough or not Loach's confidence will be low enough without having to listen to some of the venomous comments being thrown at him by his own fans behind his goal. I increasingly frequently find the match day experience in the Rookery a frustrating and uncomfortable one due to the pig-headedness of many of our supporters.

Also, may have been mentioned elsewhere but can someone please clear up the goal situation, who actually called for the ball? At the time I thought it was Dickinson in which case Loach would be be a distant 3rd in who to blame for the goal. If it was Loach as other people have told me then some of the criticism is obviosly fair. However, I would maintain that regardless of the call it was Martin Taylor's ball to deal with and he should have made sure.

I completely agree. He's received some very obscene abuse on Twitter yesterday and today, and it's sickening. No mention of the great save he made of course...just negatives and obsenities.

i don't know about the goal...it just seemed a lot of confusion and happened in a flash, perhaps the highlights will show it tomorrow and we'll have a clearer view.

On the TV it looked like Loach hesitated , I didnt hear any call from any involved on the box! Like Dyche I am losing faith in Loach ! That said there is no need to shout obscenities at the lad or abuse him on fb or twitter!
