His average actually held up very well during captaincy! Hard to believe, but I think it even improved over that term. It's improved again mind, and as much as anything it's being liberated by Sokes and McCullum that's done it. He's an amazing player.
His conversion rate is key - his early career was littered with failure to turn 50s into 100s. He's getting better and better at it now
Listening to TMS where they are discussing Robinson's send off to Khawajha and cannot BELIEVE how much the Aussies are whinging. One of them suggesting Robinson needs to "look hard in the mirror" and then apologise to Khawahja. ****ing unbelievable given how the Aussies have gone on over the years. Forget the cheats (Smith/Warner) and the Captains threatening opponents with a broken arm (Clarke) their general demeanor on the pitch has been a disgrace for years. Absolutely unbelievable
So what's the general consensus here...have the Aussies still got time to win this or will they go into defense mode... We still have time to get 7 wickets.
More than enough time. Play until 7pm assuming the weather holds. Got to be 60 overs available depending on when they start
Think you can if making time up. The final hour (last 15 overs) will be set and won't be changed. Assume final hour will start 6pm
Revised session times Here are those revised session times then. Afternoon session: 14:15-16:30 Tea: 16:30-16:50 Evening session: 16:50-19:00 All times are BST. There are 52 overs to be bowled, plus the last hour (15 overs).
Well I've learned something there. I'm sure at one time you couldn't add lost time on on the last day. Got my cans ready and ready for it. Fasten your seatbelt lads
