I know a few rumours that it's not a happy dressing room there right now, but the club aren't being ran well off the pitch either. Whether it's true or not doesn't excuse this. Durham have to be very careful, it'll be very easy for fans to become disillusioned and disengaged if they carry on like this. And if the better players or promising younger players start to look to be away, it might only get worse.
Might be the same with Woody for us. He was pencilled in for the last couple of Durham games apparently but never made it. Haven't heard anything since.

The pace bowlers may well hold the key to the Ashes this time round. Losing Cummins will be a blow for them if it happens,but vitally important for us is that we can field a choice of attack options consisting of Archer,Wood,Atkinson,Carse and Stokes all fit and ready to go. Without that,we're doomed.
