    A few of my mates have watched him play in the CL a few times and they make out like he's some sort of ****ing superstar. From what I've seen he's not THAT good, definitely not worth anywhere near £70m.

    Bet they'd recoup that in shirt sales and image rights. How many 'Messi' shirts do you see everywhere you go. From a business point of view it could be a good transfer, wonder if Ashley is listening.

    I don't believe it...that said, why have a 100m buy-out clause if you'll accept 80? If anything, having a higher clause just puts off potential bidders if you really cared about selling.
