In the red corner, the Murry sycophants from the record, former loyal rangers board members...all true bears

In the blue corner, some unknown from motherwell who has invested nothing but claims to be a rangers supporting billionaire

Who would you trust with the best intentions of rangers

I have to applaud its authenticity.

I wasn't suckered though. Leggo is wan ay they biggits who keeps his powder dry and is amazed at the stir his words can cause. He'll condemn his own, but only when pressed. Never voluntarily.

Why did Whyte say he was going to spend 25 million then? And state categorically that they did not need to sell?

    Bullshitter of the highest order

The simple and glaring fact of the matter is that Mr Whyte has blatantly lied to the rangers fans on more than one occasion, now he comes to you as a fan in your "hour of need"

gees peace whyte, your a skint chump hector and uve been fun oot

if a hud the misforchin a been bowrn intae a hun fame illy a wid be ****in feart, very afeart

If this dullard Whyte is being believed by any Rangers fan, then I have no sympathy for them or their club.

They have had years of smoke and mirrors from Murray and now downright scheidt from Whyte. If they don't possess one ounce of common sense to see what is really going on, then **** them; they don't deserve a club to support. Their acquiescence is a huge part of the reason that Rangers are as ****ed as they are.

Look at the posters on the Huns page. ML would be within his rights to take a trip to Beelzeville and start culling some ****.

In fairness, the Huns are quite the cause celebre today.

    two things from Whytes statement ;

    1. ok, he says the money came from " one of his companies "......where did that money come from ? ; whyte avoids calling it his own.

    2. His statement about never buying the daily record again <laugh><laugh>....well, it costs nothing to read it online

Its not his company that went in to administration the other day is it?

You failed to point out that he did not comment on where the £24.4m he got went.......or the fact the previous "regime" & other football clubs used it as a short term loan ie loaning the funds in June/July in advance of the transfer window before all the season ticket money is collected & not the 4 years he borrowed against..........or the fact that what he admits to is what he denied doing several months earlier!

most of the huns I know regarded murray as a shady dealing charlatan at best and despised lloyds bank for its actions ; yet strangely feel happy to quote them as having checked out whytes claims to have the readies to buy/finance rangers...

LLoyds couldn't give a toss and were desperate to offload em.

That Alastair Johnstone interview frames it nicely. Bizarrely he thinks a (Paul) Murray and Dave King package would have rescued the club. Having Rangers men try and stop the club getting humped is probably preferable to a non Rangers man telling you he isn't gonna **** you whilst lubing up your arsehole at the same time.

Lloyd just wanted the debts owed to them paid, they wouldn't be bothered about future financing as it would involve them. That is where the 3 man panel type thing sat in & heard the perspective buyers plans for the club, how they would finance it etc can't remember who was on it,ex player, board member etc.

I've often wondered what would/should happen to the SFA in regards to the fit & proper persons test in regards to ownership when it has failed like this?

They obviously haven't done simple checks like disqualified directors searches in this instance......so if A N Other buys the club to clear the debts could there not be a case of the club via new owners putting in a claim against the SFA for failing in its duty?

Similar thing happened at Portsmouth a few years back whereby the owner should not have passed but was given the ok, fudged the accounts etc & the new guy could not stop the club going under again.

There is something in that, but can you imagine the furore there would have been if the SFA blocked the billionaire bid for rangers ?
