See the rumour pages have it that Arsenal Celtic and City are interested in Craig Gordon. Personally I would like to see him fit and be our number 1 but if he is to go do you think we should be looking to City and negotiating Needum as part of any deal. Craig might not want to go there though as number 2 to Joe Hart. If it's Arsenal maybe Nasri and Fabregas and % mill he says tongue in cheek !

If they offered near to the 9 mil we paid for him go for it, we have enough cover, The Mig has shown that he can cope with the pressure of the premiership and Westwood looks pretty darn good.

I doubt we will sell him while he is injured, as we will not get any where near the 9 million we paid for him.

I would like to see him as our number 1 once fit, and hope we keep him. I still rate him higher than The Mig and the "unknown" Westwood.

Bet we will offer a new contract once his knee injury has cleared up. I dont count his arm against him as that was due to a kick.

This. If he does go I can't see anyone signing him until Jan when hopefully he's fully fit again and we will be lucky to get 4-5 million for him. Coming towards the end of his contract and we paid way over the top for him (think Keane did that once or twice didn't he?!) ... I wouldn't miss Gordon personally, think the Mig will turn out to be far better and we have the unknown as you say in Westwood.

I believe the Mig is the future for SAFC as far as the keeper position is concerned, and if the right offer came along for Gordon it should be a case of thanks very much and goodbye.
