Today Craig Gordon played the full 90 minutes for the Sunderland 2nd string team. He kept a clean sheet with a 2-0 win.

Now I have a feeling that Gordon may be in goal against Peterborough.

IF he is in goal against Peterborough and comes through it, then I can see Gordon being our number 1 keeper.

I think it is well documented that MON really likes him, and wanted him for Villa.

Now would you drop Mignolet or Westwood for Gordon?

Personally I would. He is brilliant at shot stopping, and maybe under new coaching his aerial ability will improve.

I think Westwood should be between the sticks. He has been phenomenal and even though Gordon is a quality keeper, Westwood deserves the number 1 spot.

I would drop Ming for Gordon.
Westwood has to be ousted, or play dreadfully to lose his place. <ok>

I think Westwood has shown enough to be no1 for me.

He looks far more assured dealing with high balls in the box than Gordon IMO (barring the gaffe vs Blackburn)

Could we be just putting him in the shop window, considering his contract?
