    January is the time
Not to take things too lightly
Nor think just yet too much about this May,
Those who manage that may climb
    With cracks appearing slightly
Those at the top throwing some points away

    Lowly Leeds and Brighton too
Showed just what can be done
Against two sides who were both going well,
    Taking points well overdue
From those who might have won
It doesn´t take that much to break the spell

    Saturday with Brentford here
Should keep us on our toes
As long as we don´t fall into that trap,
    They´ve surprised many this year
With far more highs than lows
And as yet, with no tendency to flap

But with new boss Alex Neil
    Wanting a head of steam
To build up now and hopefully not stop,
If he can instil Scotch steel
    Into us, that could beam
Us back towards those at the very top. OTBC

Beware ! - this Saturday may have all the appearances of a pushover, but I don´t think it will be.

It's very funny how Guru has rearranged his view of Chris Hughton(Hootun), it's a wide open division just begging for someone to go on a run! Let's hope that someone is us!

Hi skald bor, as Jimmy Greaves once said: "It's a funny old game." A few weeks ago Warky was praying for a Norwich win and then last night there were we, hoping the Seagulls would triumph over our country cousins. Well we made Warky happy and now we are delirious with joy. Yep. A funny old game.

Our home form against the league's current top teams will provide the answers to our quest for PL membership next season. Middlesbrough, Derby, Ipswich and Brentford all have to play here, that is a massive 12 points that can affect the final league positions. If we can maintain our away form and turn Carrow Road into an invincible fortress then as the Spanish would say: "De nada."

Regards to the King of the Danes !

It ain't over until that lady sings!

Saturday will be a hard test but if we are to get ourselves firmly in the top 6 it's one we should be looking to win for sure

Really well said Norkie. I'll do some 'trawling' on the BBC Sport website later and get those all - important dates. I wouldn't discount Wolves from the mix either. Good article in today's Evening News on the 'Runners and Riders' vying for promotion - I'll try and scan it later. <ok>

Here are the IMPORTANT dates -
    24th Jan Norwich v Brentford
    14th Feb Norwich v Wolves
    1st Mar Norwich v Ipswich
    14th Mar Norwich v Derby
    18th Apr Norwich v Boro

I'd love to see us amass 15 points from those games, but wouldn't be happy with fewer than 10!!!
