The irony is.. apparently some of those countries have similar cases according to Valance but we aren’t banning them.

apparently there’s a South African strain too. I think the base coding is just like the China virus so at best we could stretch to a China-UK virus.
apparently the MHRA are to pass the Oxford vaccine in the next week or so. Combined with the Pfizer one we should get the Army Medical Corps engaged to ramp up massively the vaccinations. Over 300,000 in 2 weeks is good.. but with the new strain we need to be over 1,000,000 a week imho. The army, plus the reserves.. along with the NHS, doctors, care home workers, retired medical practitioners should be able to help that target. the tipping point in our favour is when the numbers vaccinated get over 30,000,000. Once well over this figure the heard immunity kicks in and the R number drops.
I can't believe this 'new' strain has originated in this country and not any where else knowing every other country would treat you as lepers if you let the cat out of the bag
it’s in Italy, Denmark and Holland mate as well as South Africa. Turkey just banned all fights from these countries as well.
the government want ****ing for allowing London to be in tier 2 when in fact they should of been in tier 4 from the start but hey ho London businesses are all that matter **** everyone else's
