So it’s finally got me. I reckon it was the Elton John gig at the SOS. thwir bogs are worse than ours. anyhow… any tips on how to feel a bit more lively? Currently feel like I have bad flu and feeling really hot.
When I had it back in March 2020 I couldn’t do anything for about 4/5 days. Then it cleared up and I just had a persistent cough for 6-8 weeks
For me I had it pretty badly and was bed bound for just under 3 weeks with really bad headache, hot and sweaty and then freezing cold and a literally constant cough leaving my throat red raw. Boy, was it fun. What was EJ like? Was one of my big favourites in the 1970’s but figured he’s lost his voice some time back. The Yellow Brick Road tour was brilliant which was the first time I saw him.
I just got over a chest infection… then severe hay fever hit.. now covid. I’m not a lucky ****er this year.
he was really good and to be fair he hit the high notes in tiny dancer like old times. He wasn’t very mobile obviously but put on a great show.
It finally caught up with me when I was working at the Grand National in April. I felt really **** for about 24 hours - shivery, headaches and weak but after that fine. About a week later, after I had tested negative, the after effects hit me hard and I felt really really fatigued. Probably rushed back into working too quickly, so my advice would be to put your feet up and make sure you're 100% before taking on too much physical workload.
