People won't be testing as there is another supply shortage on tests. Folk will only try once or twice to obtain tests before saying '**** it'.
True. I’ve been asking people (over phone) if they have been doing the LFT and a lot are just saying they can’t be arsed. The good news is currently I’m feeling reasonably ok. Just like a bad cold. It just shows you that it doesn’t really matter how careful you are. On a scale of 1-10 10 being ultra bonkers careful I was say an 8 and the wife a 9. So how these people are not getting it who are living normally is just mental.
I brought 8 boxes of the free NHS ones back here last time. If you need any I will sell for a tenner a box.
I'm fine thanks I stockpiled as the cases rose so have around 10 boxes in the house I think. I sent the kids to school to get some and the wife is in social care so it was a team effort.....
Cheap. Lol. On a serious note had a crack with a doctor friend this morning and he says that the government expect them daily cases to rise to over 350k cases a day in the uk by the middle of January. Thats 2.2m a week. **** me!
I'm relaxed about that to be fair as there's really low death rates which suggests that Covid is washing over us and not doing any real harm. My main concern is other countries who may shut their doors to us. I'm meant to be in dubai late Jan and then the US again just after so don't want those trips to be scuppered.
The death rates are low but I have no idea what the hospital admissions are going to be like. I have asthma and a hole in my heart. I’ve been double jabbed and boosted. My symptoms are just like a bad cold. With a headache. Just in case anyone is wondering and pondering doing a test make sure your doing them properly. You must leave the swab in the solution for the 30 seconds or s minute depending on what test your using. Because a lot of people are just putting the swab in the mixture and swishing it around and then taking it out.
My Grandaughter had the symptoms had a test at home and proved positive,her Mum took her the next day to a walkin centre and she proved negative I've heard this a few times,I think the home tests can't tell the difference between flu and covid,maybe loads of people isolating when they don't need to
Possibly. Will be interesting when me and the missus get out results tomorrow. We did two tests each. One of each type of test (old and new) and 4/4 where positive. See…. I blame you lot. You have all been telling me to be more positive and well I got covid.
