Coventry have sacked their manager Thorn after 3 draws in opening matches. Don't know background but seems harsh. Surely you either get a new manager in before the preseason starts or give the manager time. I certainly want Adkins given time in our first PL season...deliberately called it our first season because this is a whole new team and ownership.
I think Fran he was on borrowed time after their run at the end of last season. Can only assume they have some-one already lined up.
Like we thought we had when Pardew was sacked suddenly Suspect you are right otherwise the timing would be strange.
Seems harsh to me, remember what he was working with at the end of last season? You can bet whoever they bring in will do no better.
Seemed like a decent man to me, and always appeared concise and honest during his post match interviews. He had a poisoned chalice at Coventry.
It annoys me when managers get sacked after a few games. If your going to sack him, do it at the end of last season.
In reality he should probably have been sacked last December. The owners are saying he has not sorted out off-the-pitch matters, whatever that means. But I don't think they have a good enough squad to go up anyway.
