Started with 39 TO GO.....18....12.....9..... or 12....9.....18.... the best and worst scenario's I hope to see, games won drawn or lost, at seasons end starting with the 7th game played, as above 71pts or 50 pts both means safety one is a maybe! 38games to go......0....1.....0 ( can still lose 9 more!) or 0....1....0, can still lose 18 more!) Next game Reading at home this and 2 other fixtures Burnley v Florest and Watford V Millwall are potentially "6 pointers" I would like to see 3 points
Let's be honest, yesterday in the first 45 minutes we were bloody abject. A team more ruthless in front of goal than Hull would have gone in 2 up and it would have been game over. Second half we woke up a bit, although why the idiot Millen is starting Maynard at the moment is beyond me he's obviously not up for it. Pitman looked keen and hungry when he came on and Taylor did ok too. Have to fault Basso for the goal though even though Pitman took it well. However we can't gloss over the massive shortfalls here. We are 1 point from the bottom of the table with Donny winning yesterday and we are still showing relegation form. 4 home games, 1 goal and 2 points. Board - act now Millen has to go regardless of the impending Reading game/result
Not exactly what I saw, and I have said for 2-3 weeks NM is in need of a rest. I thought all in all it was a fair result, but neverthe less 2 points lost at home....then again I am not one to have a mind influenced by outside influences
Why does Nicky Maynard need a rest, correct me if I'm wrong but we are only 8 games into the season, so saying he needs a rest is a bit beyond me! These are professional athletes so they should be able to play for a lot longer than 8 games.
RorD I havent said he is tired physically, IF YOU READ more of the previous posts not just I have made the same suggestion.... As a grandfather Ive "parented" a lot of em and til they get a few months old you worry.....
I agree babies are a worry, he ain't the first footballer to have a baby. Nor to have transfer speculation around him. I am a father too along with being a bank manager, taxi driver, problem sorter, and general dogsbody but I still go to work and put in a 55-60 hour shift in a week and I don't get anywhere near his salary. I just think he is not with us at the moment
