Suspect he wont,as hes just returning from injury. And you might as well play a 100% fit Agger n Skrtel rather than a 90% fit Carra, especially after the clean sheet last week. What would be your response if Kenny picked him befor the other 2 Also when he is 100% fit, will Kenny bring him straight back in, I suspect most fans would say if the 2 in possesion of the CB spots keep clean sheets, they should stay in. But somethin tells me Carra is perhaps one of Kennys " favourites" and he may just come straight back in regardless of what the other 2 do
Carra should play instead of Skrtel if he is fit, 1 good performance from Skrtel doesn't disguise that he is a liability. imo of course.
Tend to agree with both of you. Both Carra n Skrtel have been far from perfect this season.Carra being slightly the better on form so far this season. But as Page Moss said on another thread,if it aint broke dont fix it.So Id leave it as Skrtel Agger today, and if they concede goals, Kenny will have to look at it next time, if they dont concede Carra stays out of team As for Agger, well hes just effin class ( massively underated by opposition fans, one of the best 4 CBs in the prem, not underated by LFC fans though,we know how good he is),and is our best CB by a mile in Neon lights. When fit he should have his name embroidered into the team sheet
Look at Newcastle, the back 5 (including keeper) haven't changed all season and they have one of the best defensive records in the Prem. Look at United, constantly changing their defence and have looked very vulnarable recently. We need to keep a solid back four so they can get an understanding with each other and lets be honest Carragher has 1-2 more season left and should now been seen more of back up than regular starter. As stated above, if it ain't broke... don't fix it.
Don't agree there Skrtel has been directly involved in a lot of goals against. Cant agree all the time though.
