Too many red and white eyes indeed He had me fooled and sucked into his forked tongue emotional reposted - but I'll give him a last roll of the dice in this transfer window. A forlorn hope really
Psychologically, going bottom with an F A Cup weekend coming up is a worry, because we have a couple of weeks to stew over it. Then we play Cardiff away, then Barnsley, Birmingham and Burton at home. These are very dark days for Sunderland. As optimistic as I want to be I look at our squad and genuinely fear the worst. If in a couple of weeks we are still in this mess I can see Short doing what Ken Bates did at Leeds and putting Sunderland A.F.C. into administration.
Get yourself one of these. Much cheaper than a plumber. https://www.screwfix.com/p/drain-unblocker/11325#
Aye, you were very vocal about it. I, along with many others, had a number of arguments with you about it. Humble pie tastes very bitter!! The last line in the letter (Sell up and leave) would be great, but he had that chance in the close season and turned down the offer which, according to him, was "not in the best interests of SAFC" (more likely not enough money for him). I just don't see where a buyer would come from. One that meets his unrealistic demands wouldn't happen before the end of the window anyway! For the first time in over 30 years, I'm considering giving up my season ticket!
Just my nature to be skeptical and anal. Seeing the way he made his billions never sat well with me. I think we'll see administration before we find a buyer sadly.
Knocks it out of you one win in 12 months, I said the same to my bairn today. Will just pick and choose games.
I mentioned Administration for the first time just over a year ago, looks like it's closer than it was before. The man is ruining us and the fans will rise up against it when it's too late, when we should have made a stand 3 or 4 years ago. I've been balanced, slightly on the optimistic side for years, backed us to stay up in all but the season we went down. I say what I see ultimately, I'm not always right but it feels pretty **** to have been so right so far on our demise. Of all the things I am wrong about, why couldn't it have been this? The one thing I've wanted to be wrong about more than anything. Can't stay as balanced and remain honest anymore. It's grim. Still backing us to stay up this season like, just have a feeling, but we'll drop sooner or later like we did with the PL if we're continued to be ran into the ground.
I listened to Coleman on Sky Sports earlier and what he said was depressing. He spoke very well and told it how it is. i.e. no money to spend (he knew that and was not complaining), it would have to be loans, one possibly/hopefully in by the weekend, and no bids yet for any of our players. He will have to do superbly well in the loan market to keep us up. It is going to be a very interesting month for the club.
Short really is a dickhead if he can't see that we desperately need him to crap out a few mil to strengthen the squad. It's only going to hit him in his own pocket ultimately. Thick twat.
I just can't see what possible angle he's coming at it from. I don't know how he got to be so rich if he's too thick to realise how spending a little bit will save him a lot. I've not been happy with him for ages but this is the first time I want to kick his teeth in.
Because he made his money buying struggling companies and profiting off their assets. Doesn't work like that in football though. He's never built a company in his life. Football is all about the gradual build to create a healthy club. Alien concept to this chump.
I don't think he's thick. You don't become a billionaire from being thick. He's just lost all interest imo & is kicking us fans in the balls & fannies.
