Former Portsmouth, Nottingham Forest and Bristol City boss appointed manager of League One rivals Former Pompey boss Steve Cotterill has been appointed manager of League One rivals Shrewsbury https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/...s-appointed-manager-league-one-rivals-3049986 I thought LJ was shortlised?, good luck to Cotts, gave me the best year in ages.
had him already lined up? Did give us all some cheer with his lge one achievments only way is up … 3-5 -2 ?
Good luck to the man because he gave me my Bristol City at Wembley memory in front of 72,000 fans and tbh I never dreamed that in my wildest dreams.
Oxford city in the cup his first game ….. WIN he could claim credit, lose put it down to didn't have time to assess players! lol ...either way goodluck
Good luck to the man. If we ever find ourselves back in League 1 (God forbid) he'd be first on my wishlist to get us back to the Championship.
Started off with a bit of luck ……………. Daniel Udoh scored an extra-time winner to send Shrewsbury Town into the third round of the FA Cup and end Oxford City's entertaining run. Udoh's close-range finish at the start of the second period of extra time was enough to see the League One side squeeze past their opponents from the National League South. City, who knocked League One Northampton out in the first round, were looking to reach round three for the first time in their history. But they failed to deal with Scott Golbourne's cross that fell for Udoh to turn home his second goal of the season. Both sides had a man sent off in the last 10 minutes of normal time after a clash between Shrewsbury's Aaron Pierre and James Roberts of Oxford.
would love that to happen would see at least 2 or 3 ropes dangling from the suspension bridge ! ….. or 3 rather deep hole in the mud with the tide out!
