most people probably won't agree with the following team but based on everyone being fit, this is what I would like to see MON put out for a game.

    GK - Mig
    RB - Oshea
    CB - Cuellar
    CB - Brown
    LB - Bardo
    RM - Johnson
    CM - Colback
    CM - Larrson
    LM - McLean
    AM - Sess
    FWD - Fletcher

I think Seb in the middle has better distribution than Catts, and Jack is probably the best centre mid we have.

Like I said not everyone will agree but I like the look of it.

    Cheers

Thats a very poor use of our squad imo.

O'Shea at RB is a disaster waiting to happen (he has never had a good game there yet in a red & white shiret) and he has been excellent at C Half with Cuellar

Larsson was v poor at Arsenal and against Swansea in central midfield and we lost all our bite once Catts went off. When everyone is fit, this is my team.

    Mig

    Bardsley, O'Shea, Cuellar, Rose

    Catts

    Larsson, Colback, Sessegnon, Johnson

    Fletcher

I'd drop McClean as he was poor again for me yesterday and he needs a bit of heat taking out of his world at the moment and a spell on the bench wont kill him. Also, as much as I like Colback in a straight fight, I'd have Catts in that role and push Jack forward.

Opinions huh, who would have credited it on a fans forum?

After yesterday when we we not so good after Catts went off, and I am not his biggest fan, he may have to be in the team? AJ, Sess and McClean all had poor games lets hope that does not happen again, for most of the game Swansea dominated us, although of course Fletch scored a couple of goals..I just want us to win and attractive football. The bin dippers are up next let's trust we will be up for the first home game of the league season.

That would be my squad personally, apart from O'Shea right back, would rather play Cuellar there, O'Shea at rb is woeful

Cest, you make a good point about dropping McLean as he hasn't been great to this point. But when he hits form he definitely brings another dimension. Like I said in my op, not everyone will agree, it creates healthy debate. Better than the constant fighting with the dipshit mags coming on here.

    This would be mine

    Mig
    Bardo/O'Shea/Cuellar/Rose
    Catts/Colback
    Johnson/Sess/McClean
    Fletcher

Think without Catts in midfield we are toothless no shape and no-one to stamp authority on a game. Without Colback we can't keep the ball so he has to be there for me as well.

I like the look of this , McClean needs a break, and to be used as an impact sub, in the last 20 minutes. With Johnson switching to the right. Think the boy might have more of a future as an out and out CF.

    For me,

    4 2 3 1

    Ming
    Bardo, Cuellar, O'Shea, Rose
    Colback, Seb
    Johnson, Sess, Mcclean
    Fletcher

Look to play out of the defence, Sebs passing is better than Catts so he can set an attack going & join in as required, Colback to protect the back 4 (Seb to chip in where he can), personally the front 4 pick themselves.

I'm not sure what our best team and set up is at this moment.

No to O'shea at rb though. I like Larrson in the middle. No good if we are going to sit deep though as we did against arsenal and Swansea.

Maybe we should change the team to be more defensive away and more creative at home.

With the exception of Rose and Bardsley we probably had out our best side.

This for me, it's apparent that Catts is essential in the middle of the park, or we get overran.

Before he went off we never really looked like scoring, so I would say we were better going forward and poorer defensively when Meyler took his place..
