Splatini nearly got the result that UEFA would have seen as the perfect one. Two of the softest yellow cards I've seen in many a long while - which could have lead to a host nation getting the perfect start and thereby holding the interest going probably into the knock-out stages. Then the ref destroys the conspiracy by awarding a straightforward penalty. Ah well the theory nearly held water Lol
