    The fight before between Weidman and Rockhold was properly brutal. Weidman was previously unbeaten and the world champion and he'd never been on the canvass. Rockhold systematically destroyed him to take the belt - it was epic. Worth watching if you haven't seen it. I quite like this UFC fighting - it is brutal.

    18 months of build up followed by a 13 second bout at 3 am.in the morning!!!!!! Don't think the UFC or the Pay Per View channels can be too happy about that. Or the big buck punters who put wads on Aldo just prior to the fight. Not too sure about the plane loads from ROI who made last minute deals to fly to Vegas - got the result they wanted but just 13 seconds entertainment value for a 12000 mile round trip??? Kip Dynamite would have lasted longer<laugh>

    The fight before it was worth the admission money alone. Weidman v Rockhold - absolutely brilliant.
