Evening Saints Fans Those of you that don't know me, I'm Ellandback, from the Leeds board. I introduced my flatmate (an avid Saints fan) Lazyboy to the Saints forum before Christmas. Anyway, yesterday he proposed to his girlfriend of four years and she said yes . Congratulations Pete and Sara Right, who's up for a stag do....
Lazy Boy...... good luck to you and your intended. Congrats to you both. Elland whats happening to your lot up there?
Congratulations to them both and before some misery guts comes on here and complains that this is a pointless non-footy thread, I am a hopeless romantic so it's tough!
I think it's about time we called a Plummer to fix that leaky dripping cow of a tap. Congrats lazy boy, We all learn by our own mistakes
Beddy will be growling away. What sort of thread is this? But hey, what's football when we're talking love? Good luck both and I hope she's a Saints fan. I married a Manc. No regrets after 40+ years, except for the quiet Saturdays when they stuffed us and those rare ones when we did them. Cup Final 76 was a highlight! (see - footie, Beddy!)
I hope they are are as happy together as me and the very lovely Mrs Godders. However I do not recommend to them serving a valentine dinner in the nude especially if you have candles on the table and a very excitable lady close by. It was quite embarrasing last night explaining to the Doctor in A&E how I had managed to get candle wax burns on that most important of male appendages. He was laughing behind his hand when he asked if I was sure it wasn't a friction burn. By the time he eventually got around to dressing that most sensitive part of my anatomy every nurse (male and female) in the General had been summoned to examine said burn and appendage and to express an opinion as to its cause. To further embarass me they had turned the heating down and I was bloody freezing the consequences of which of course led to more amusement with sympathetic glances and comforting arms around the very lovely Mrs Godder's shoulders. The very lovely Mrs Godders was not best pleased when the Doctor said as we left that the bandages would have to stay on for at least six weeks. I was glad to get out of there and vowed that I would give all my support to Mr Cameron's suicidal proposals for the NHS. As they, say don't get mad get even. We will soon see who is laughng then.
What's this got to do with Southampton FC? Why should I care about "Pete and Sara"?I don't even know who they are...
Thanks everyone for your very kind words! Special mention to Godders hope you get well soon! The only wedding present I want is to see Southampton FC back in the Premier League! COYR's
