I think that's a huge step towards safety now. Couldn't see Bolton winning after their performance at Spurs, they look like a team out of ideas. Can't see them winning at Stoke but you never know.
Cheers DL. Now I'm slightly gutted WBA didn't win that one. They deserved to. Mancini has just said they need to win the last game regardless of the man utd result, which opens the door for Bolton. Hope our boys passed the message to the stoke players after the game.
I think Stoke will be a different proposition at the Brittania, Bolton beat them 5-0 earlier this season, so hopefully the Potters will have a score to settle...
God, hope you are right Sooper. I have a bad idea it will be a very tight game that could go either way, but Bolton will of course be far more up for it than Stoke. How many busses can we park at Citeh? - reckon we need to play 2 defensive lines deep, a 4 and a 5, with Cisse up front alone - he just may score on a break!
Thanks, DL. Unfortunately can see Bolton getting a result against Stoke who are already on the beach. Stoke are the team that really deserve relegation for their horrible football, wtf is it with Delap's shirt?
It's Stoke last game of the season in front of their home fans. Crouchie will want at least a brace to remind Woy that he's still around.
mad day of football, and QPR have given themselves a reprieve from what seemed like certain relegation. However, and i'm sorry to be gloomy, next week is an insane test for you, and that point that Bolton got changes everything. The odds on Bolton winning are at 2.9, to stokes 2.3 respectively. Its going to be very close. And imagine if QPR are one down at the etihad, and stoke bolton is still 0-0. Despite you still technically having your survival in your own hands, it seems more like its reliant on Bolton not winning. As an outsider i'm crapping myself as to how its all going to go! edit- last time i remember an end of season being so tense, Norwich lost 6-0!
We couldn't have asked for any more. With a minute to go we was drawr-ing and they was winning. And this "in our own hands" thing is another idiotic footie gem that's arrived on the scene along with the magic word "contact" (as if its a non-contact sport) and the little beauty "we scored too early". There's a couple more I can't think of right now but they pop up all the time and make absolutely no sense. If every game was in "ones own hands" one would win every single game one plays. But there's two teams on every friggin' football pitch!
Another week - it could have been effectively overfor us today but for some surprises at the end - must be my birthday with presents like that - oh, wait, it is
The problem is Bolton can't keep clean sheets. Hughes has tightened up the QPR defence since coming to LR. Bolton would have to score 2 or maybe even 3 to win at Stoke.
